Quickblocks Feldkirch City Tunnel, AU

A new city tunnel with an underground roundabout with four tunnel branches is being built in Feldkirch in Vorarlberg, Austria. The large-scale project, with a construction period from 2024 to 2030, aims to achieve a sustainable reduction in traffic and thus in traffic, noise, and emission pollution.

Even during construction, the state and the builders are paying attention to environmentally friendly implementation: from the removal of construction waste by rail to accompanying measures for public transport and the cycle path network.

Climate-friendly concrete is also a must: our Clim@Add® is used in the approximately 560 Quickblocks that are intended for various fire protection and noise protection installations in this major construction project.
Even before the tunnel breakthrough in April 2026, 211 Quickblocks in various sizes have already been delivered. These were built at the plant of our partner Nägele Betonfertigteil- und Transportbetonwerk GmbH in Röthis with the addition of Clim@Add®.
