Biochar News: EU adopts Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF)

With the adoption of the world's first certification methods for permanent CO2 removal under the CRCF (Carbon Removal Certification Framework), clear standards have now been adopted to ensure that every ton of carbon removed is measurable and verifiable and delivers real climate benefits.
𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 (𝗕𝗖𝗥) 𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻 (𝗻𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗦 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗖𝗖𝗦)

𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗿𝗲𝘁?
The EU is finally providing much-needed clarity. The rules for additionality, permanence, and quantification have been established. This means that dMRV (digital monitoring, reporting, and verification) is no longer just a "nice-to-have," but the foundation for every successful project.
𝗪𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝘂̈𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮̈𝗱𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝘁:
