This is what a CO2 storage facility looks like

With Clim@Add®, concrete and asphalt become carbon sinks while at the same time improving the material properties of the products.
Because we believe that climate protection and building material innovation must go hand in hand.

Negative Emission
Technology

We permanently store technical carbon in building materials and actively remove CO2 from the atmosphere.

Improved material properties

Adding our carbon-based aggregates improves the properties of the building materials.

CO2-certificates

Innovative insetting solutions to offset unavoidable emissions in your company.

Our aggregates make your products climate positive

The construction industry holds enormous potential for achieving climate targets. Infrastructures are being expanded and built worldwide, and more than 15.5 billion cubic meters of concrete alone are used every year. In operation, modern buildings can already produce more energy than they consume - with our technology, the building materials also become climate-positive.

We have developed an aggregate that reduces the carbon footprint of mineral building materials by up to 100% and can also achieve improved material properties in the end product. By adding our Clim@Add® aggregate, we permanently bind CO2 in building materials, turning them into carbon sinks. The addition of Clim@Add® also saves primary raw materials that are harmful to the climate, such as cement. This means that more CO2 can be stored than is generated during production, and the products become climate-positive.

The basis of our aggregate is technical carbon, a product of a climate-positive energy system recognized as a negative emission technology. In addition, the so-called reverse power plants produce process-related renewable energy and CO2 certificates can be generated via the bound carbons.

Act locally -
Protect the climate globally

Our products are created where they are brought in. We rely on local procurement and short transport routes, thus ensuring sustainable supply chains and optimal use of local residual material flows. The projects are implemented with building material manufacturers on site.

Facts and figures

Our motivation

When technicall carbon is incorporated into building materials, permanent and stable carbon sinks can be created to a much greater extent than in other industrial applications. Due to the enormous quantities involved, there is immense potential in the construction industry that we want to leverage to make one of the industries with the largest carbon footprint more sustainable and even climate-positive.

The wood does the work for us: it binds the CO2 in the forest, on the roadside, in green spaces, in parks....
We make sure that this binding is permanently preserved.
